Here's what they are SAYING...

A THANKFUL HEART!

"I wanted you to know that I thought you did a great job of keeping 3yr. olds to 6th grade students attention throughout your program. You did a great job of weaving our stories into your program.

The magic was great but I noticed most was how you kept weaving God’s message in your effects. The educational aspect of your program was FANTASTIC! They absolutely loved your sense of humor and overall on a scale of 1-5 I would rate you at a 6!"

-Phyllis McMahon, Prince of Peace Lutheran

THE 3 MAIN POINTS THAT THE KIDS WILL BE TALKING ABOUT!

1.
We are thankful for family and friends
2. We are thankful for our good health and the good health of others.
3. We are thankful for the Grace of Christ in our lives!

SOME OF WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE SHOW.....

*To illustrate our first point I perform a simple effect with a cute story about family. Using 3 handkerchiefs to play the parts of 3 siblings who take each other for granted. When one becomes lost they start to realize how different their lives would be without each other. In the end they are all reunited and THANKFUL for being a family!!

*At one point in our program we take time to ask the group if there are any loved ones that are sick and that we can offer a prayer for. After our brief prayer service we talk about being thankful for our good health and others. I then talk about how we can take care of ourselves, exercise, rest and the importance of a good diet which leads right into my Peanut Butter and Jelly routine. I explain the importance of moderation and how there are good things in peanut butter and jelly but there are also things that aren’t good for you (Fat and sugar). I then cover the peanut butter and jelly with tubes and claim I can make them switch places invisibly. In the end one of the children from the audience actually does the trick much to the audiences delight.

*Using a classic of magic called, “The Linking Rings” we demonstrate the grace of Christ. Simply by displaying the ring we talk about how the elegant ring is a perfect symbol of the Grace of Christ: No Beginning, No End the Grace of Christ is never-ending. At the end of the routine I display the 4 rings stating Father, Son, Holy Spirit and each of us linked by Baptism.

In addition we discuss the larger community and sharing gifts and resources, the gift of creatures and the importance of the pets in our families.

We always use magic words or phrases in our programs, for this program we use the following: A thankful Heart is a Happy heart, and do you hear the murmur it’s the sound of a happy heart.

"Thank you, Brian, for the wonderful presentation at our Sunday School. I thought you should know that the Sunday School teachers loved your act! The kids loved you! It was a great day, a great message, and a whole lot of fun! Thanks again for sharing this wonderful gift you have with our young people! God bless!"
